J.G.B.M.S. Technology

 

Technology has provided us many systems to solve problems and aid us in our every day lives. Systems that move goods and people are called transportation systems. You will be required to create a functional CO2 car from the materials given.

 

 

Class Procedure-

• Students will research design ideas

• Brainstorm several ideas narrowing the selections down to best one

• Transfer their idea to either Google Sketchup or Autodesk Inventor

• Use the full scale printout as a template for their car.

Lab Procedure-

• Paste the Canvas printout to the wooden blank

• Drill the axle holes

• Cut out the design

• Sand and paint

• Assemble

Purpose-

This is the final project the students will do for the year and allows them to see how much their capabilities have grown. To successfully complete this project, the student must possess a mastery of several tools and skills.
